Beginning Tai Chi

Tai Chi for Fall Prevention 
Tuesdays and Thursdays
February 6 through April 24,  4:30-5:30 pm

Many students of tai chi feel an enhanced sense of balance, stability, joint flexibility,
awareness of surroundings, and mindfulness, all building confidence in their ability to perform daily activities. Jerry Henderson is a certified Sun style instructor who will introduce and guide you through basic tai chi principles, the moves of tai chi fall prevention, and related Qigong exercises. Since retiring 2 1/2 years ago Jerry has focused on applying his Taoist tai chi practice from 45 years ago to learning new skills from local teachers, workshops, study, and practice. Jerry looks forward to imparting his knowledge in a structured teaching system while sharing an open learning experience with all participants. Class size is limited, please register through Ilsley Library 388-4095.
