Classic Russian Literature Discussion Series

Experience a classic Russian novel!  Join Middlebury College Emeritus Professor Michael Katz in reading and discussing Ivan Turgenev’s Fathers and Children (aka Fathers and Sons), first published in 1862.  Unlike most Russian novels of the period, this one is short (only 160 pages)  and easy to read.  It is a very enjoyable introduction to the Golden Age of  Russian Literature.  The group meets five times, on Tuesday evenings (September 9-October 7) from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. in the Vermont Room.  Please register your interest and get a copy of the book at the adult circulation desk.
