The Zone: Hows, Whys, and Wherefores of “The Zone”

The Zone: A place for students aged 10 and up to come work on homework, socialize with their friends, and participate in special programming after school.
Special Programs will run from 3:30-4:30 pm under the following schedule:
Movie Mondays: Come view short films, featuring the best youth-oriented videos for Vimeo, Youtube, festivals, dvd’s and more as part of Ilsley’s ongoing Short Stuff Film Festival.
Tech Tuesdays: Join us for a drop-in program that teaches participants how to film, edit, and produce videos, as well as explore other areas of digital media.
Wacky Wednesdays: Crafts, movies, book groups and more. Let us know what interests you.
Throwdown Thursdays: Feed your competitive streak with card games, building challenges, computer gaming and more.
Foodie Fridays: Learn to cook tasty meals and snacks with your favorite librarians Kevin and Tricia.
