The Opioid Epidemic in Vermont: Combating Addiction in Addison County

Dr. Emily Glick of Bristol Internal Medicine will address the history and medical basis of medication-assisted treatment, a strategy her practice uses to combat addiction with chemistry and counseling.  RN Therese Giles and LADC Amy Kittredge will discuss their work counseling patients on how behavioral and socioeconomic issues impact people's recovery.  Sponsored by the Middlebury branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW).
