Dolly Parton Imagination Library is a literacy program founded by Dolly Parton to foster a love of reading among preschoolers and families.
- What does the Imagination Library offer?
- One age-appropriate hardcover book is mailed to your home every month until the child's fifth birthday.
- How much does it cost to participate?
- It is free to those enrolled. Addison County Readers pays $30 per year for each child, which is raised through local donations and fundraising.
- Who is eligible?
- All children who reside in Addison County from birth through the fifth birthday.
- How do I sign my child up?
- Pick up an application at your local library, pediatrician's office,
or daycare center. Return the application to:

- Volunteers at Addison County Readers, Inc., are responsible for obtaining
the $30 per child per year that it costs to deliver books to Addison
County preschoolers. Grants, donations from local organizations, and
private donors keep the program going. Donations may be made through:
