We have a lot of awesome programs and workshops this summer. Most are open, but a few require advanced registration. If you don’t see a blurb below, there’s no need to register!

 

Tween/Teen Programs

For Children 9 and up

Introduction to Movie-Making
Grades 4 and up
Monday – Thursday June 29th – July 2nd 9am – 12pm
Learn the basics of movie-making with the help of Ilsley Public Library and MCTV’s Technology Coordinator Kurt Broderson. No previous experience necessary.

Stop Motion Animation
Tuesday – Friday 7/21 – 7/24 9am – 12pm
Do you like to draw, play with legos, or sculpt? Learn how to transform series of still images into incredible animated films with the help of Ilsley Public Library & MCTV’s Technology Coordinator Kurt Broderson. This class is intended for kids entering grades 4+ who have attended a Lights, Camera, Action camp or at least five sessions of Youth Media Lab.

Advanced Movie Making
Tuesday – Friday 8/11 – 8/14 9am – 12pm
Are you ready to take your filmmaking skills to the next level? Learn how to use special effects that add “awesome” to your movies with the help of Ilsley Public Library & MCTV’s Technology Coordinator Kurt Broderson. This class is intended for kids entering grades 4+ who have attended a Lights, Camera, Action camp or at least five sessions of Youth Media Lab.

Fabulous Felt
Tuesday, July 7th 1:30pm
All ages with adult, 9 and up independently
Join local craftsperson Danielle Gori-Montanelli and make fabulous felt creations.

Garden Club Flower Arranging
Tuesday, July 14th 1:30pm
Create a beautiful flower arrangement with the Middlebury Garden Club.

Tell Your Own Story, With Comics!
Tuesday, July 21st 1:30pm
Learn to draw and make your own comic books with Ericc Cram!
