Thinking of diving into a writing project this summer? Wondering how you might start? Join other young writters and learn what you need in a first chapter to get your story going. We’ll chat about writting a great first line that hooks your reader, a main character that you’ll want to root for, a problem they might face, and more. Local writer Elaine Anderson will share a bit of her own middle grade novel-in-process and share tips and prompts to get you started.
