PROJECT BACKGROUND MATERIALS

Meigs Road Location Access Info

  • The library's space at the Megis Road property is accessible directly from a back parking lot. There is a long set of stairs to get to the door that provides direct access to the library space.
  • The library's space can also be accessed by passing through the Shacksbury Cider facility. The Shacksbury Cider facility has the use of a loading dock. The loading dock will be available to the library mover (provided there advance notice/coordination):
    • In the mornings between 6:00 am and 8:00 am.
    • On the weekends.
    • IF the books were to be palletized, the movers could deliver the pallets to the loading dock and Shacksbury staff could use a forklift to move the pallets to a storage space adjacent to the library space.
