Getting a New Library Card
Residents of Middlebury and students within the ACSD (Middlebury, Bridport, Cornwall, Ripton, Salisbury, Shoreham, Weybridge) are entitled to free membership at Ilsley Public Library. You will receive an email from us with your library barcode/username and your password and your card in the mail.
Residents from outside of Middlebury may apply for a non-resdient membership. After completing the form, please mail a check addressed to "Ilsley Public Library" to start your membership. After payment is received, you will receive an email from us with your library barcode/username and your password and your card in the mail. This process may take a week. For faster service, stop by the library and we'll set you up with a card right away.
If you reside outside of Middlebury, to start your membership you will need to mail or drop off a check during pickup hours addressed to "Ilsley Public Library".

Fees for Individual Non-Resident Membership:
3 month membership – $15
6 month membership – $25
12 month membership – $45
Non-Resident Family:
12 month membership – $70
Renewing Your Library Card

If you live in Middlebury, East Middlebury, or are an ACSD student, you will receive an email once your account has been renewed. If you reside outside Middlebury, to renew your membership you will need to mail or drop off a check during pickup hours addressed to “Ilsley Public Library.” Our mailing address is:
