The Middlebury Community Classic Film Club will screen our second film in this fall series on immigration and migration. This month’s film is THE EMIGRANTS starring Liv Ullmann and Max von Sydow. It’s the story of 19th century Sweden and a family that faces a life so harsh that they decide to leave everything and everyone they know for a new life in America. Free. Discussion to follow. Cookies, popcorn, and good coffee will be provided.
