Addison County Amateur Radio Association Saturday, June 4 at 4 p.m.
The Addison County Amateur Radio Association (ACARA) provides a forum for members to share amateur radio and its value to the general public as a non-commercial voluntary communication service, particularly with respect to providing emergency communications.
In addition, ACARA offers members support for their educational, technical, experimental, and other electronic- and radio-related activities. Come join us at any of our upcoming meetings to meet local Ham Radio operators and learn more about our amazing hobby. Public welcome!
The Middlebury branch of the Burlington Writers Workshop is open to writers in all genres and all levels of experience. Two participants submit work for review at each meeting. The workshop strives to provide positive support and feedback. The workshop process focuses on how all participants can improve and develop their writing through the workshop process. The Burlington Writers Workshop was founded in 2009 and provides extensive programs to support the work of its more than 800 writer-members. Membership is open and free of charge (though tax deductible donations are always welcome). Participation in the workshop is scheduled through the MeetUp.com website. While workshop participation is open, advance sign up is required as places are limited. More information is available at http://burlingtonwritersworkshop.com/middlebury/
