Friday, August 11 at 2:30 pm This discussion of Angie Thomas’ debut novel, which explores issues of racism and police violence, is open to anyone 13 and up. Copies of the book are available at the adult circulation desk, as well as downloadable ebooks and books on disc. The discussion will be moderated by Kemi Fuentes-George, Assistant Professor of Political Science at Middlebury College.

A partial solar eclipse will be visible in the Middlebury skies between 1:20 pm and 3:45 pm. The library received a set of solar eclipse glasses for the event. Stop by the adult circulation desk during the eclipse to borrow a pair. And, remember: never look at the sun without eye protection.
