Film Screening: Amistad Thursday, September 27th at 6 pm
Our fall 2018 theme is immigration and migration, and the first film offers Hollywood's take on the Amistad trial, the true story of the struggle for freedom in pre-civil war America. The following films will also be shown this fall: The Emigants (10/25), El Norte (11/29), and West Side Story (12/20). Coffee and cookies will be served.
