“Healthcare Decisions for Small Businesses in 2013”. A discussion sponsored by the Addison County Chamber of Commerce
Wednesday February 6, 2013 noon – 1:30 p.m.
Join us for a discussion of the changes coming to the small business health insurance market in 2013 and 2014. We will cover the changes required by the federal Affordable Care Act, how they are being implemented in Vermont, and what that means to small businesses in the state. In particular, we’ll tackle the question of whether in 2014 a small business should stop offering health insurance or should continue to offer insurance through Vermont’s on-line Health Benefit Exchange. The discussion will be moderated by Bram Kleppner, CEO of Danforth Pewter and Co-Chair of the Medicaid / Exchange Advisory Board, and Sean Sheehan, Director of Education and Outreach for Vermont’s new on-line Health Benefit Exchange at the Department of Vermont Health Access.
