Ancestry Library Edition & Other Genealogy Resources
Thursday, July 28 at 2 p.m.
Learn how to use the Library's genealogical databases to explore your family history. Please bring names of a few people you would like to know more about, ideally one or two who might be in the 1940 U.S. Census. We will have two experienced genealogists on hand to answer your questions--Joan Hoxie and Ann Watson. Joan Hoxie has pursued genealogy as a hobby for 30 years while researching the family history of three English grandparents and is a member of the New England Historic Genealogical Society. Ann Watson was a librarian for over 30 years and has researched her own family history for a long time. She holds a Certificate of Study from the Boston University Genealogical Research program and is a member of the National Genealogical Society and the Association of Professional Genealogists. Space is limited. Register at the circulation desk or by calling 388-4095.
