Certified Sun-style instructor Jerry Henderson will introduce and guide you through basic tai chi principles, the moves of tai chi fall prevention, and related Qigong exercises. Join local author and pediatrician Jack Mayer as he discusses his writing process and inspiration for his two books, “Life in a Jar: The Irena Sendler Project” (creative nonfiction about the Warsaw ghetto) and “Before the Court of Heaven” (historical fiction inspired by the history of how Germany’s Weimar democracy became the Third Reich). This talk is sponsored by the AAUW and is open to the public.
