5:45 - 7:30 p.m.
Geof Hewitt, Vermont's Poetry Slam Champion, and Word on the Street present a slam at the Ilsley Public Library. Slammers should bring two original poems, each of which they can read or recite in three minutes of less. This slam is open to all poets. Those who wish to participate should sign up at the door from 5:45-6 PM. Modest prizes. No cover charge, so audience members can enjoy a free evening of mixed poems! People under 13 yrs old should be accompanied by an adult.
