Ilsley 100 Community Updates

Our thanks to the more than 200 library supporters who came out to the public meeting on August 9^th to learn more about the conceptual designs and design firms in our competition. It was a wonderful evening and we very much appreciate your enthusiasm and support. After considering input from multiple sources including library staff, library Trustees, and more than 120 written comments from the public, the Ilsley 100 Project Team recommended to the Selectboard that we move ahead with the team of ReArch Company of South Burlington working together with Wiemann Lamphere Architects of Colchester.  Our next steps, subject to Selectboard approval, will be to proceed with a fundraising feasibility study and with the schematic design process, during which we look forward to a number of further opportunities for community input.
